PawTection is a protective wax that creates a barrier to defend against future damage from hot surfaces, cold weather, salt, and rough terrain. Yes! Our paw balms are made with naturally-derived, vegan, plant-based ingredients and are safe for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes—including puppies. The formulas are free from harsh chemicals, so there’s no worry if your pup gives their paws a lick after application.
It depends on the condition of your dog’s paws. For dry or cracked pads, we recommend applying Paw Soother 2–3 times daily until you see improvement, then as needed for maintenance. For protection, apply PawTection before each outdoor adventure—especially in extreme heat, cold, or on rough terrain.
Our balms are made with food-grade ingredients derived from nature so they’re non-toxic if your pup happens to lick their paws. That said, for the balm to work its magic, you’ll want to distract your dog for a few minutes after application so it has time to absorb. A training treat or favorite toy usually does the trick.
