Paw Soother heals and soothes rough, cracked, and itchy paws.   • Distract, apply & reward!

    Distractions are key. Using treats (peanut butter works great), applying right before mealtime, or following with a belly rub are positive, effective ways to allow time for the product to work it's magic!

    Before applying any balm, clean up any excess dirt or debris evident around the affected area.

    Stick Application: Twist a small amount of PawTection or Paw Soother up from the stick and gently glide a generous amount of our protective balm directly over your dog's paw pads.

    Tin Application: Use two fingers or a low-absorbent cloth to apply a generous amount of PawTection or Paw Soother directly over your dogā€™s paw pads.

    Paws will be slick after application so allow the area to dry with your pup's favorite distraction. 

    PawTection is best applied before going outdoors while Paw Soother is most effective when applied right before bedtime when the body enters regeneration mode.

    Pro-Pup Tip:
    Many customers have used baby socks after applying balms to paws to prevent licking and to create an ultra healing environment for the paws to absorb the natural butters and oils.

Our products will still work even if most of it is licked off. Though, for best results, we advise using distractions, such as treats or mealtime, to allow more time for the product to work it's magic!

  • Paw Soother is ideal for the following:

  • The more often you are able to apply Paw Soother to your dog's paws, the better. We recommend applying at least 2-3 times per day - especially before bedtime when bodies are healing and regenerating. Once your dog's paws are healthy, you can reduce the frequency of applications and still maintain soft, smooth, healthy paws.

  • PawTection will provide healing benefits as well as prevent damage from the following:

    • HOT surfaces such as: pavement, sidewalks, gravel, rocks, sand, stone, concrete, decks, etc.

    Best stuff for dogs out a lot!!!!

    I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this...within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad...deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also.

    I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone...so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended.

    I tried the pawtection and it really helped his paws on the cold pavements but we got to about 3.5 miles in on our run and then he started running on the snow, so it doesn't stay on longer than 4 miles, which is ok cuz u don't wanna be out too long really cold or hot weather anyways.

    There is nothing better out there

    Paw Soother has been the only product for our dogs daily ā€œPaw-dicureā€. As a 6 month rescue, we noticed her paws were dry. Immediately, we started using Paw Soother on her. This has been so beneficial, in more ways than just the condition of her paws. She loves the relaxing and massaging she gets from it. Her paws are in such great shape now. Paw Soother helped us get through the winter and snow. We love it!!

    works better with water tip

    My 12 year old Australian Shepherd has some auto immune issues and had some pretty bad Hyperkeratosis. I have used this product now every day on her feet for almost a year and it really helps manage it, but it's a continuing battle. However, recently it had rained outside and I did her feet while they were still wet from walking outside, and wow it made a huge difference. Essentially you are locking in the moisture with the paw soother. So, now I take a wet paper towel or wash cloth and make sure her feet are moist before I apply it and her feet are almost perfect now. I continue to use it daily on her. I hope someone else finds this helpful.

    Licks Alot

    I really like your product and it smells great but my dog thinks it smells great too and continuously licks it off no matter how much I try to occupy her otherwise. So I donā€™t think itā€™s staying on long enough to help. But Iā€™ll keep trying.

    Our pup was feeling better after a couple days!

    Lilah is a 10 year old black lab that me and my boyfriend rescued a couple years ago. The pads of her paws were flat, cracked and had formed growths on her individual pads. After 2 days of use those growths fell off as healthy skin grew! Her paws look better and she runs around like she feels better too.
