Instructions
Apply the recommended number of pumps to your dog's bowl during or after mealtime. Can be divided between AM & PM meals if desired.

I liked that i can simply apply it on top of my beagles food, however no mention of how much mercury is within the product is very worrisome. Mercury is toxic to us humans, and more to dogs based on the differences in body mass. As consumers we should know how much mercury content is within the product we feed our furbabies.

Let me start by saying my dog absolutely loves this oil mixed in with her food. She anxiously awaits and licks her lips when I pull the bottle out. However, this bottle leaks... a lot. The instructions say to shake before dispensing, causing oil to come out. Unlike pump soap dispensers, this pump lid doesn't switch into the "Off" position unless you push it down and twist, which causes it to dispense oil while doing so. Next time I get this I'll leave the original cap on the product and use a medicine dropper to dispense for a less messy (and smelly) experience.

So I have an 8 year old Boston/Pug mix who has bad allergies that require a prescription medication (apoquel). The medication is $80 for a 28 day supply. If she ran out, within a few days she would be licking her paws and rolling all over the floor to scratch herself. I decided to give this a try as she’s snobby and won’t eat dry kibble without a topper of something. I started her on this a month ago and after a week realizing I had run out of her meds and yet she wasn’t itching! So…I decided to wait and see if just the oil and the skin and coat chews would be effective for her so I didn’t have to give her prescription medication everyday (mind you, I would spare no expend if she needed the prescription medications, I’m just not a big fan of them). So far, so good! She gobbles them right up and I don’t have to play “hide the pills” in some peanut butter. Her coat is soft and shiny and she loves the taste! We won’t be without this for sure!

My two year old Goldendoodle absolutely loves this Salmon Oil! She is typically a grazer, but when I add this to her food she eats the whole bowl of food right away. I have noticed that she is not itching as much since she started taking this supplement daily. Will definitely purchase again!
