• How does this product help my dog?

  Like humans, dogs need a well rounded diet to be healthy. Adding this product helps to provide natural vitamins and minerals that they may be missing from their regular food. Having healthy nutrient levels helps all of their body systems work more efficiently and helps them stay in peak condition.

• What’s the flavor like?

  Most of the flavor comes from the seeds themselves, but we’ve added in additional pumpkin powder to make it more palatable for dogs.

• What specific superfoods are included in this product?

  This blend includes flaxseed, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and grape seed extract. All of these are superfoods because they provide super nutrition!

• What’s the recommended serving size?

  We recommend 1 scoop daily for dogs under 25 lbs, 2 scoops for dogs between 25 and 75 lbs, and 3 scoops for dogs over 75 lbs. Amounts can be split between AM and PM meals.

• Can I give this to my puppy?

  As long as your dog is eating solid foods, he can consume this product.

• How many calories does this product have?

  There are 14.28 calories per scoop.

• Should this be used for wet or dry food?

  This product works for either wet or dry foods! The granular texture has added moisture included so it’s great for dry food and can easily mix with wet food as well. You can scoop straight out of the bag and onto your dog’s favorite food, or add it to a lick mat for added stimulation for your dog.

• Is this product suitable for dogs with allergies?

  This product is not suitable for dogs with dairy allergies, or for dogs who are allergic to any of the specific ingredients included.

• Do I need to refrigerate after opening?

  Nope! Just store in a cool dry place.

• What’s the shelf life?

  This product is good for 2 years after the manufacture date. You can find the expiration date at the bottom right corner on the back of the packaging.

• My dog has a sensitive stomach, can he still use this product?

  Some dogs need to get used to new foods added to their diets before they start seeing benefits. Additionally, receiving nutrients they are currently lacking can sometimes give them an upset stomach at first because their bodies aren’t used to them. Try providing a small amount first until your dog’s body can get used to it and the build up to the recommended amount.

• How big is the scoop?

  Each scoop is about 7.5 cc, or 3.4 grams.

• Should I give my dog this or the multivitamin?

  This product is basically nature’s multivitamin, offering a robust list of essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids dogs need to be healthy. The nutrients are derived from the ingredients alone, but that sometimes means the amounts aren’t as high as what you’d find in a multivitamin. If you’re looking only to deliver high amounts of vitamins, the multivitamin should be your go-to. If you want a wider variety of nutrients, this is the product for you.

• Why do you include sugar as an ingredient?

  Cane Sugar helps the product taste better for dogs, but also helps with the consistency we want in this product. We promise the nutrients your dog is getting from this product outweighs the sugar included for flavor!

• How long will the bag last me?

  If you’re giving your dog one scoop daily, the bag will last you 60 days. Two scoops daily, the bag will last 30 days, and with three scoops daily, the bag will last 20 days.

• Does this product contain any artificial ingredients?

  Our Super Seeds are formulated without any artificial ingredients! No artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or additives are included in this blend.

• Can I use this product along with other products you offer?

  Absolutely! In fact, we recommend it! You can use this product on its own to deliver nutrients to your dog, but we recommend each dog should receive one fish oil, one granule supplement, and one as needed functional supplement to cover the complete spectrum of health and wellness.
