Give your dog a raw bone to chew on, a yummy treat, dinner, or play with them for a few minutes until the carrier oils have had a chance to work it’s magic. We hear peanut butter works great!
The more often you are able to apply Paw Soother to your dog's paws, the better. We recommend applying at least 2-3 times per day - especially before bedtime when bodies are healing and regenerating. Once your dog's paws are healthy, you can reduce the frequency of applications and still maintain soft, smooth, healthy paws.

My 12 year old Australian Shepherd has some auto immune issues and had some pretty bad Hyperkeratosis. I have used this product now every day on her feet for almost a year and it really helps manage it, but it's a continuing battle. However, recently it had rained outside and I did her feet while they were still wet from walking outside, and wow it made a huge difference. Essentially you are locking in the moisture with the paw soother. So, now I take a wet paper towel or wash cloth and make sure her feet are moist before I apply it and her feet are almost perfect now. I continue to use it daily on her. I hope someone else finds this helpful.
I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this...within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad...deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also.
I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone...so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended.
I tried the pawtection and it really helped his paws on the cold pavements but we got to about 3.5 miles in on our run and then he started running on the snow, so it doesn't stay on longer than 4 miles, which is ok cuz u don't wanna be out too long really cold or hot weather anyways.

Lilah is a 10 year old black lab that me and my boyfriend rescued a couple years ago. The pads of her paws were flat, cracked and had formed growths on her individual pads. After 2 days of use those growths fell off as healthy skin grew! Her paws look better and she runs around like she feels better too.
I really like your product and it smells great but my dog thinks it smells great too and continuously licks it off no matter how much I try to occupy her otherwise. So I don’t think it’s staying on long enough to help. But I’ll keep trying.
