PawTection is used to prevent damage, while Paw Soother is used to heal existing damage. PawTection is a natural wax blend, so it provides a nourishing barrier between the paw and harsh surfaces and conditions such as hot pavement, sand, salt, ice, and snow. Paw Soother is a butter blend meant to smooth, soften, moisturize and heal dry, damaged, peeling, and cracked paw pads. Think: PawTection before going outside, Paw Soother before bed. Both have amazing collaborating qualities – making them the pawfect team!

The more often you are able to apply Paw Soother to your dog's paws, the better. We recommend applying at least 2-3 times per day - especially before bedtime when bodies are healing and regenerating. Once your dog's paws are healthy, you can reduce the frequency of applications and still maintain soft, smooth, healthy paws.

For best results, use PawTection before going outside. Reapply periodically when exposed to harsh conditions such as ice and snow and especially really hot pavement. Dogs feel pain on their paws!

My dogs love having the Paw Soother put on. They do sit and lick it a little bit after I put it on but it still absorbs just fine. I got the tins but I think next time I’ll get the sticks because I think application will be easier and less messy (it can get on the fur in between toe pads). We also have the Paw-Tection which we like just as much. Definitely waxier than the Paw Soother.

Our dog’s paws were so chapped and had blisters on them to the point where he was constantly licking them. We decided to give these a try and they are no joke! It works wonders and it is unbelievable the progress you see in only 3 days!

Our blue heeler had really rough paws. So rough that they would they would scratch us. After using the paw soother for about a week, his paws were so soft that they weren't scratching us anymore. 10 out of 10 would recomend to any pupper. We did buy the travel size first to test it out, but our dog loves to eat chapstick so he destroyed the little one. Hasn't done anything to the big ones though!

Our Frenchie was getting into a paw licking habit, and to top it off we moved to a warmer city and he needed an all-natural protectant from the hot pavement. He's so happy now, barely licks his paws, and loves going for runs outside! He does like to lick it as we're applying, probably because the ingredients are so good for him. But once it's applied he just wants to play :)

The paw soother is a miracle worker. I put it on both my Goldendoodles at bedtime and it makes their pads so soft and they enjoy a paw massage!
