• Is this more of a fragrance spray or an anti-itch spray?

  This product smells great, and also helps combat itching with natural ingredients! Keeping your dog clean goes a long way to help with itching, and luckily this product helps to condition and moisturize skin too. Long story short, both!

• How does this spray help with itching?

  Our Itchy Dog Spritz helps to combat itching by moisturizing and conditioning skin using natural ingredients like Aloe, Calendula, Lavender, and Eucalyptus. Massage gently into the skin after spraying for maximum benefits.

• My dog has a really long coat, can I still use this to help with itching?

  Yes! Be sure to separate the fur the best you can while spraying and gently massage the spritz into the skin to target problem areas.

• Does this product use artificial fragrances?

  Nope! All of the fragrance from this product uses only natural essential oils. We also don’t have any sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or alcohol in this blend, so it’s hypoallergenic!

• Can I use this spritz in place of a bath?

  While this spritz will help to remove loose debris and fur from your dog’s coat, but won’t provide as thorough of a cleaning as a proper bath. Try out our Itchy Dog Shampoo when your dog is due for a deep cleaning!

• Should this be used on dry or wet coats?

  Either! It can be used to freshen up a stinky dog, or following a bath for a more lasting scent and more conditioned fur.

• Does this product help with shedding?

  The Itchy Dog Spritz can help remove loose fur from your dog’s coat if you brush it through, but won’t make your dog stop shedding. Try our Skin and Coat Supplements for additional coat support!

• Where should I spray this on my dog?

  It’s best to use this spritz on the most stinky parts of your dog, like their armpits, behind their ears, or at the base of their tail. But this can be used all over the dog or wherever it’s needed most!

• Can I use this on my dog’s bedding?

  This product may help cover up some smells lingering on your pet’s blankets, bedding, or clothing, but it’s best to keep those items clean with regular washing to remove dirt and debris more effectively from their environment.

• When should I use this spritz?

  You can use this spray as needed, but we recommend also using this spray prior to exposing your dog to something that might make them itch (like playing outside in long grass). That way you can support their skin before and after they may experience itching.

• What if my dog swallows some?

  Don’t fret! If your dog eats some of the product, they may have an upset stomach until it passes, but it won’t cause any permanent harm. Each case is different though, so if symptoms persist, contact your vet.

• Are there any potential side effects for this spritz?

  While we strive to create a natural, soothing formula, we can’t control for allergies or sensitivities your dog may have. Try spraying a small amount on your dog first to make sure they don’t have any skin irritation from this product before using it all over their body.

• How often should I use this spritz?

  If your dog is especially itchy or smelly, use it as needed! We recommend spraying throughout the day to keep your dog smelling fresh and maintaining the scent.

• What is the shelf life on this product?

  This product is good for two years after opening. After that point it may lose some of its smell, but won’t cause any harm to your dog if used.

• How long does the smell last?

  It depends on your dog’s coat texture and length and how dirty they were to start, but you can expect scent to last for at least a couple of hours.

• Is this product safe for cats?

  This product was formulated specifically for dogs and is not recommended for cats. Cats have more sensitive skin and fur, and may not like having something new added to their coat.
