Thank you! Something that helps!
I know this product is not for treating allergies, but it is healing the hot spots and flaking skin and hair falling out and most of all the scratching. No matter what the cause of all this is, my baby comes to me and begs for her "stick". The first time I applied it was a little bit of a tussle because she's a hyperactive dog, but after the first application, she stretched out in her bed and almost sighed...dozed off and slept soundly for quite some time. After about two weeks of treatment, she has no red spots on her tummy and only one in her "armpit". The fur has begun to grow back in the bald spots and she has one small flaky spot. She sleeps through the night without a sound and the paw licking is pretty close to gone! She takes Benadryl still as she has for 2 years and a couple of supplements and special food. None of that has changed, but all the ointments and sprays that helped some but still minimal and kept her moaning and scratching and licking are gone! I HIGHLY recommend this product and my Gracie does too! This picture was taken after her first treatment...

It Works
In the hot weather my dog gets hot spots. She scratches a lot. When I put the skin soother on it gives her relief. I have used this in the summer for a couple years & am happy with it.

However, for best results, we advise using distractions to allow the balm time to absorb. Give your dog a long-lasting chew, a yummy treat, their dinner, or play with them for a few minutes until Skin Soother has had a chance to work its magic.
Distract, apply, reward!
With a distraction in tow (we love training treats or maybe their favorite toy) clean up any excess dirt or debris evident around the affected area. Use two fingers or a low-absorbent cloth to apply a generous amount of Skin Soother covering the area completely. Allow the area to dry (a nice belly rub always does the trick!) and follow up with a treat or play time for a positive reward!
Repeat one to three times daily. Consistent and frequent application to open wounds is crucial to protect against infections and harmful bacteria. Decrease application as the area improves.

This is hard to say, it is varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others make take longer. Wounds have been proven to heal much faster with use of Skin Soother than those without.
