To start, we recommend applying the balm at least two to three times

I recently adopted a cocker rescue who had been neglected. Due to hypothyroid not treated, his nose was swollen and cracked. After reading reviews, I ordered this Snout Soother, and thanks to those who reviewed previously. This stuff is amazing. The order arrived really fast, and I started applying right away, 2-3 times a day. Within 3 days, his nose was about 75% improved. Now, about 3 weeks, later, his nose is normal--I keep applying once a day, just to keep him comfortable. Great stuff!! Great Company!!

ingredients include nut oils and butters, which can be appealing to
dogs, so they may attempt to lick it off. This is perfectly normal!
Snout Soother will still work even if most of it is licked off. Though,
for best results, we advise using distractions such as treats or
mealtime to allow more time for the product to work it's magic!

The more often you are able to apply Snout Soother to your dog’s nose,
the better. We recommend applying at least 2-3 times per day –
especially before bedtime when bodies are healing and regenerating. Once
your dog’s nose is healthy, you can reduce the frequency of
applications to maintain a healthy and hydrated nose.

This is hard to say, it is varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others make take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results. Wounds have been proven to heal much faster with use of Snout Soother than those without.
