TESTIMONIALS Ruby "Wild and out of control. That's how best to describe my Staffordshire Terrier, Ruby, on day one. Helen Marie trained me and I trained Ruby. And what a difference it's made! Ruby is now a well-behaved member of our family and I'm so proud to be at the end her leash." Kaisho Hi, my name is Kaisho. My humans say that I haven't been socialized and therefore had to go to obedience school. I tried telling them that I was a Lhasa Apso and that I was bred to be a watchdog. My humans said that I could be a watchdog, but they would decide who to let in the house and who not to. On my first night I was introduced to my teacher, Helen Marie. I introduced myself with a growl and a bite of her hand. She told me I was mistaken in my opinion of who was in charge, and proceeded to teach me how to walk at heel (I think she just taught my human how to walk because he doesn't step on me when we walk anymore), how to sit, lie, stay and come among other things. I already knew these things, I just didn't think they wanted me to do them exactly when I was told. (At the end of 8 weeks, I knew everything, but I decided I should come back for another 8 weeks because I figured I had more to teach Helen Marie.) I now can ride in the car without barking at other cars and pedestrians, and even walk on the sidewalk without letting the people on the sidewalk bother me. I even take treats from Helen Marie's hand without biting or growling. I really like Helen Marie, but don't tell her, then she would want to pet me, and what would the other dogs say? helped to write by the man I allow to live with me Dan Pancoast
